How to Withdraw Funds through the Celsius Network App

Here's a helpful guide that breaks down how to withdraw funds from your Celsius wallet, what information you'll need, and what to do if you get stuck.

Celsius members are able to withdraw funds at any time, for any amount. And as always, there are never any fees or penalties to access your own funds. This means you can withdraw a little or withdraw a lot 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — for free. Here's a helpful guide that breaks down how to withdraw funds from your Celsius wallet, what information you'll need, and what to do if you get stuck.

How To Withdraw Funds:

1. From the home screen in your Celsius app, select "Withdraw."

To access your home screen, select the blue Celsius logo in the lower right-hand corner of your Celsius app.

2. From the coin dropdown list, select the coin you would like to withdraw from your wallet.

This list will only display coins that you hold in your Celsius wallet.

3. Enter the amount you'd like to withdraw.

You can enter this number in the coin amount (ex: 1 BTC) or the USD amount. Most withdrawals are processed automatically, and users can withdraw any amount at any time; however, our security policies may require additional withdrawal approval. For example, larger withdrawals above $50k are subject to additional security checks and may take up to 48 hours to process.

4. Enter (or confirm) your withdrawal address.

If this is your first withdrawal or the first time you are withdrawing a specific coin from your wallet, you will need to enter your withdrawal address.

5. Confirm your withdrawal details.

Select "Confirm withdrawal" from your app screen and follow the on-screen prompts. You will need to verify your PIN/2FA and enable email verification.

6. Verify your withdrawal request.

To confirm your withdrawal, please open the confirmation email you received from Celsius and click on the "Confirm transaction" button within the email. Once the transaction is verified by the network, your withdrawn funds will be visible in your receiving wallet/exchange.

Is there a maximum amount I'm allowed to withdraw?

No — Celsius users have free and unlimited access to their own funds. For security purposes, there is currently a soft cap on withdrawals of $50,000 or more in a 24-hour period. Larger withdrawals above $50k may take up to 24–48 hours to process.

What if my withdrawal doesn't arrive to the withdrawal address?

Depending on the blockchain, it may just still be pending, certain coins can be very slow depending on the load on their network. You can see the transaction ID of your withdrawal in your withdrawal history, if your transaction has already been confirmed but you don't see it in your destination wallet, you will have to contact the receiving wallet provider for support. They will need the transaction ID to locate your coins, you can safely give it to them via their support channels.

Why is my withdrawal address locked?

Withdrawal addresses are locked after the first withdrawal for security reasons. This way, in the rare chance a hacker is able to gain access to your account, the only place they can send your crypto is to a wallet that you already control.
